Data Center Site Manager

Summary: Meta is seeking a Data Center Site Manager to provide exceptional engineering, operations, and people leadership at our data center. Our data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly-growing, mission-critical infrastructure operates and our innovative services are delivered. As Site Manager, you will be a key leader in the global Data Center Site Operations team, accountable for ensuring the infrastructure at our data center meets the current and future needs of Meta and our global community. This role requires a strong understanding of data center operations, engineering, and leadership principles. You will manage a team of experienced professionals and oversee all aspects of data center operations, including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, and security systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing large-scale data centers or similar mission-critical facilities, a passion for technology, and a commitment to operational excellence. Responsibilities: * Lead and manage a team of data center operations professionals, including engineers, technicians, and support staff. * Oversee all aspects of data center operations, including electrical, mechanical, and security systems. * Ensure the data center infrastructure meets the current and future needs of Meta and our global community. * Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reliability, and safety. * Manage the data center budget and ensure financial performance. * Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors. * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. * Lead and participate in incident response and root cause analysis. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize data center performance. * Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous learning. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. * 7+ years of experience in data center operations or a similar mission-critical environment. * 5+ years of experience managing a team of professionals. * Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and security systems. * Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance. * Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. * Experience with incident response and root cause analysis. Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree in engineering or a related field. * Data center certifications (e.g., CDCP, CDMS, or equivalent). * Experience with data center design and construction. * Experience with renewable energy and sustainability initiatives. * Experience with automation and control systems. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. * Familiarity with data center industry best practices and standards.
