Data & Automation Engineer (Qlik Sense / Python / APIs / AI-RAG) (m/w/d)

Nord-Ostsee Automobile counts among leading automobile trading companies in Germany with brands like Mercedes-Benz, AMG, Aston Martin, smart, Hyundai and Iveco. The team comprises over 1,600 employees at 38 locations in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Brandenburg and the Region Hannover.

You will take on the technical implementation and operation of our data-, BI- and automation solutions. Focus is on Qlik Sense, Python-based automations, API integrations, as well as stable business processes including ticket handling. KI/RAG is included, but currently a smaller part with expansion potential.

Tasks

• Further development of Qlik Sense apps including load scripts, data modeling and performance optimization
• Implementation of technical requirements in BI logic and visualizations
• Development and operation of Python automations as well as processing/transformation of data (e.g. CSV, Excel, JSON)
• Bonding and maintenance of REST- and GraphQL-APIs including documentation
• Operation & Support: Ticket handling, error analysis/bug fixing, monitoring of processes
• Collaboration on AI use cases and support for building RAG solutions (smaller part)
• Implementation of small to medium-sized projects as well as professional guidance of external service providers including quality assurance and handover into operation

Qualification

• Practical experience in Python and good SQL skills
• Very good experience with Qlik Sense (load scripts, data modeling, performance)
• Safe handling of REST- and GraphQL-APIs, JSON and API documentation
• Structured, independent working style and willingness to take over operational topics (operation/tickets) reliably
• English for collaboration with the Head Office in the Netherlands
• Interest or first experience with KI/LLMs or RAG is an advantage
