Job description

Overview

At Sener, we offer our clients almost seven decades of engineering and technological innovation knowledge to help them with their day-to-day problems and challenges. We need to incorporate profiles into Dcode, which has an absolutely digital focus, complementing the operational efficiency domain perfectly. We want to accompany companies and their businesses in their digital transformation across all types of markets, such as industry, energy, infrastructure, transport, aerospace, defense, or health. Our mission at Dcode is to drive digitalization through knowledge of industry and operational processes, making our clients more data-driven, secure, and efficient in the face of growing market competition.

What you will do

As a Data Architect at Dcode, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable and secure data architectures in Cloud environments. You will lead complex digital transformation projects and data products around engineering, ensuring the efficient integration of structured and unstructured data, and guaranteeing its quality, governance, and availability for analytical exploitation. Your approach will be strategic and technical, with a global vision of the data ecosystem, collaborating closely with engineering, data science, and business teams to maximize data value in sectors such as industry, energy, infrastructure, and aerospace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design data architectures in public cloud (Azure, AWS) that support near-real-time and batch data flows, applying organizational patterns such as Lakehouse or Data Fabric.
  • Define data storage and consumption models (Data Lakes, Data Warehouses), as well as access, retention, and security policies.
  • Technically lead data projects and products, supervising Data Engineer teams and collaborating with Data Scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Liaise with technical and business stakeholders, explaining design decisions and strategic recommendations.
  • Apply good architecture practices, promoting automation, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Participate in defining data architecture standards and methodologies within the organization.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security, complying with regulations such as GDPR and ISO 27001.
What we expect from you
  • More than 10 years of experience in data projects, with at least 4 years designing complex data architectures.
  • Ability to lead digital transformation projects with business vision and a focus on delivering value. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working on projects with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), actively participating in ceremonies.
  • Autonomy, strategic thinking, and results orientation. Ability to mentor junior profiles and foster good practices within the team.
  • Experience in consulting environments is a plus, especially in sectors such as industry, energy, infrastructure, or aerospace.
Technical Skills
  • Solid experience working in a public cloud environment in Azure and/or AWS (certifications are valued).
  • Experience designing scalable, resilient, and secure solutions. Knowledge of complex data architecture patterns (Data Mesh, Data Fabric, etc.) is also expected.
  • Knowledge of real-time or near-real-time processing mechanisms (streaming or micro-batching techniques), and orchestration strategies with OSS or cloud tools (Airflow, Azure Data Factory, AWS Step Functions).
  • Experience in data modeling, especially regarding normalization, logical and physical design, and consumption patterns.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security, especially regarding the application of good practices for metadata management, data quality, and access policies, encryption, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience integrating data from sensors and devices (IoT) is a plus.
What we offer
  • You will have the opportunity to participate in innovative and high-tech international projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary and highly qualified team.
  • You will enjoy better time management through our flexible working hours and remote work policies.
  • You can optimize your salary with our flexible remuneration plan (food card, private health insurance, childcare vouchers...) and you will have life and accident insurance.
  • We will take care of you with our physical and emotional well-being program, which includes sports, workshops, etc.
  • We will drive your professional development, with training in technical skills, soft skills, languages, etc., so you can continue growing and achieving your goals.
  • We promote equal opportunities, diversity, and inclusion for all people and are certified as a Family Responsible Entity (efr).
