About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with 8 years of hands-on expertise in Python , Databricks , and large-scale distributed data systems. This role involves leading data engineering initiatives, architecting advanced data solutions, mentoring junior engineers, and partnering with business and technology teams to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable data architectures that meet business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data engineering initiatives that drive business value. Develop and maintain technical roadmaps for data engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices within the team. Partner with stakeholders to define data engineering project requirements, develop project plans, and ensure successful delivery. Key Skills and Qualifications 8+ years of hands-on experience in Python , Databricks , and large-scale distributed data systems Strong understanding of data architecture principles, including data modeling, data governance, and data quality Experience leading or contributing to data engineering projects that involve ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data analytics Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement complex data solutions Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Certification in a relevant field (e.g., Certified Data Architect) is a plus.
