Objective of the role
We are looking for a Data Architect Senior specialized in Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric, responsible for designing scalable data solutions, advanced dimensional modeling, pipeline optimization, and defining technical standards. The role requires fluent communication in English and work with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Design architectures of scalable data based on Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI
• Develop and maintain complex dimensional models and optimized analytical structures
• Implement pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and orchestration using ADF or Fabric Data Factory
• Define data quality strategies, technical governance, and storage patterns
• Develop solutions based on Delta Lake / Parquet and lakehouse architectures
• Optimize performance, costs, and capacities in Synapse and Microsoft Fabric
• Implement CI/CD, automation, and DevOps best practices in data environments
• Collaborate with global engineering, product, and business teams

Requirements

• Azure Synapse Analytics: 4+ years
• Microsoft Fabric in productive environments: 3+ years
• Power BI: 4+ years (semantic models, DAX, best practices)
• Advanced dimensional modeling: 5+ years
• SQL advanced: 5+ years
• Spark / Notebooks: 3+ years
• ADF or Fabric Data Factory: 3+ years
• Delta Lake / Parquet: 3+ years
• CI/CD and automation: 2+ years
• Professional English C1 mandatory

Desirable requirements

• Optimization of capacities in Fabric (Direct Lake, Import, DirectQuery)
• Experience with advanced semantic models and complex Power BI artifacts
• Streaming processing (Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, Fabric Real-Time)
• FinOps applied to data platforms and cost optimization
