Job description
We are looking for an experienced Data Architect - AI who will design and build the data foundation for programs in the area of new technologies. The role combines strategic responsibility for architecture with practical engineering execution in complex multi-source environments. Role Summary The ideal candidate will be a leader responsible for data architecture, acquisition, integration, and engineering in corporate systems, connected devices, operational platforms, partner ecosystems, and advanced technology environments. You will define the target data architecture while actively participating in the implementation of data pipelines, integration frameworks, and scalable solutions supporting analytics, AI, automation, and data products. Key Responsibilities Defining and full responsibility for end-to-end data architecture covering source systems, streaming data pipelines, storage and transformation layers, APIs, and consumption platforms. Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines for structured, semi-structured, unstructured, and real-time data. Integrating data from corporate applications, devices, sensors, operating systems, external vendors, and partner ecosystems. Establishing canonical data models and integration patterns for assets, events, locations, products, devices, users, and operational processes. Collaborating with security and data governance teams to embed access controls, data lineage, quality, and compliance requirements into the architecture. Supporting use cases for real-time and near real-time processing. Ensuring interoperability across distributed technical and business environments. Establishing engineering standards, DataOps practices, monitoring, and reliability mechanisms. Enabling downstream analytics, AI, simulation, and scalable consumption of data products. Providing technical leadership for platform decisions, deployment sequencing, and delivery trade-offs. Required Qualifications Documented experience in data architecture and data engineering in complex, multi-source environments and in a Data Architect role. Strong, hands-on experience building modern data pipelines and integration frameworks. Experience with cloud data platforms and distributed data processing. Very good knowledge of batch, streaming, and event-driven architectures. Experience in operational and analytical data modeling. Experience integrating data from machines, devices, telemetry, or operating systems with corporate platforms. Deep understanding of APIs, interoperability, and integration patterns. Ability to act as both an architect and a hands-on delivery leader. Excellent communication skills in working with technical and business stakeholders. Experience in disruptive technology areas, industry, infrastructure, advanced engineering, or innovation-driven environments. Familiarity with edge-to-cloud architectures, digital twins, simulation data, or AI-ready platform design. Experience in metadata management, data lineage, and integration with data governance. Experience working in regulated, operationally sensitive, or multi-entity environments.
