Data Analytics Lead

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Delivery

• Lead a cross-functional team of data architects, analysts, SMEs, and technologists to deliver high-impact analytics solutions.
• Drive delivery excellence by defining and enforcing best practices for scalable and efficient outcomes.
• Cultivate a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Strategic Data Leadership

• Develop and execute a data strategy aligned with client business objectives.
• Partner with stakeholders to convert business problems into actionable analytics-driven outcomes.
• Influence strategic decisions through advanced analytics insights.

Technical & Architectural Oversight

• Architect and manage enterprise data platforms including SQL Server, Snowflake, and Power BI with focus on scalability and performance.
• Lead initiatives across Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Data Warehousing (DWH) tailored to private market analytics.
• Assess and integrate emerging technologies such as big data and advanced analytics tools.
• Uphold data quality, integrity, and security while aligning with compliance requirements in private equity and alternative investments.

Performance & Metrics

• Define and track KPIs to monitor team performance and project success.
• Enhance reporting, dashboards, and visualization standards for impactful decision support.

Governance & Compliance

• Establish robust data governance frameworks in alignment with client teams.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements related to private markets and fund accounting.

Experience

• 15+ years of progressive experience in Program/Project Management within the capital markets / financial services sector.
• Hands-on expertise in SQL Server, Snowflake, Power BI, ETL processes, and Azure Cloud Data Platforms.
• Strong exposure to big data technologies and modern data architectures.
• Proven ability to deliver solutions with focus on data quality, integrity, and accuracy.
• Deep domain understanding of private markets including private equity, private credit, CLOs, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Strong analytical and decision-making ability in high-pressure environments.
• Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary teams on large-scale data initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degrees: MBA / MS in Computer Science / Finance / related field.
• Certifications such as CFA, Snowflake Certified Architect, Microsoft Power BI Certified (preferred but not mandatory).
