Data & Analytics Coordinator

Job Description OceanaGold New Zealand has an exciting opportunity for a Data & Analytics Coordinator to join the team. If you're able to not only problem-solve from a technical perspective, but step back, connect the dots, and translate data or system issues into something meaningful and actionable for the business, breaking down technical details to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders, we want to hear from you! This position can be based out of either our Waihi (North Island) or Auckland offices. As a Data & Analytics Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing data insights and analytics support to various departments within the organization. Your key responsibilities will include: • Providing data analysis and reporting services to support business decision-making. • Developing and maintaining databases, data visualizations, and reports to meet business needs. • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data requirements. • Designing and implementing data quality control processes. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization. • Providing training and support to non-technical users on data analysis tools and techniques. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Analytics, Statistics). • 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is desirable.
