Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the role
We’re looking for a data-driven problem solver to join our team. In this role you will be supporting entities across the Wise Group to improve how they work through smarter use of data.

You'll contribute to both large and small projects by designing reports, creating insightful data visualisations, and helping shape systems using both off-the-shelf and in-house software.

This is a varied role where collaboration is key—you’ll work alongside internal teams and the Business Improvement team to deliver meaningful, people-focused solutions that reduce operational pain points and create real impact.

In this role, you will:

• Analyse data to uncover patterns and support informed decision-making
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and recommend practical solutions
• Design and build reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Extract, transform and document data to support scalable, reusable solutions
• Apply UX principles to co-design user-friendly tools and reports
• Provide support, troubleshooting and subject matter expertise across systems

This is a fixed-term position working 40 hours per week, based at our beautiful head office in Hamilton East, with flexible working options available. This role has a fixed-term end date of 30 June 2027.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills & Experience
We’re looking for someone with:

• Hands-on experience designing reports and dashboards in Power BI
• Proficiency in Power Query, DAX and SQL
• Experience with data modelling and databases
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative, solution-focused mindset

It’s a bonus if you have:

• An understanding of the New Zealand health sector, especially in the NGO or community space
• Experience presenting to stakeholders or facilitating workshops
• Proven ability to work independently with creativity and initiative
