Business Analyst – Key Responsibilities & Required Skills: 1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and objectives. Document, analyze, and refine functional and non‑functional requirements. Convert business requirements into clear technical specifications for data, reporting, and engineering teams. 2. Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary bridge between business users, data engineers, and BI developers. Conduct workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and other stakeholder engagement activities to ensure that all parties are aligned on project goals and objectives. 3. Data Analysis & Visualization Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract insights from large datasets. Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. 4. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business users, data engineers, and BI developers to ensure that project deliverables meet stakeholder needs. Communicate project progress, results, and recommendations to stakeholders through regular meetings, reports, and presentations. Required Skills: 1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. 3. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, and data visualization software. 4. Experience working with large datasets and ability to extract insights and recommendations from complex data sets. 5. Strong understanding of business operations and processes, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
