Responsibilities and Tasks of the Function

A professional responsible for developing tools and methods for processing and analyzing data for electric vehicle battery systems (xEV). Focus on analyzing large volumes of data from cell tests, battery packs, development vehicles, and fleets. Profile usage, battery lifespan, failure predictions, and product improvements.

Main Activities:

• Data processing and mining for electrical, mechanical, and thermal data.

• Tech support for developing and validating batteries based on real data.

• Field performance analysis and automated report generation.

• Support in identifying failures, root causes, and defining corrective actions.

Technical Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Applied Physics, or related fields.

• Experience with mathematical modeling, data regression, and simulations.

• Fundamental knowledge of electrochemistry and battery behavior.

• Mastery in Matlab, Python, or Octave.

• Noise on BMS, powertrain xEV, and experimental methodologies.

Differentiators:

• Masters degree in the area and experience with high-voltage systems.

• Familiarity with tools like Simulink, COMSOL, GT-Suite, ANSYS, DOORs, Canalyzer.

• Experience with ASPICE or CMMI-oriented development.
