Job description

We are hey contact heroes, a customer service provider from the heart of Hamburg, in the center of HafenCity. Since 2021, we have been looking after customers for brands such as Telefónica, 1&1, Universal Music, Check24, Hamburg Wasser, and enviaM by phone, email, and chat. More than 500 team members work for us across Europe remotely, and in recent years we have grown by 8 to 10 percent every year.

Every day, a lot of data is generated here: call volume, processing times, quality metrics, shift schedules, revenue per project. To make even more of this, we are looking for someone who loves numbers and also enjoys building things. The position is 100% remote and can be filled from anywhere in Europe.

Responsibilities

You will evaluate our data from all projects and turn it into reports and dashboards that management, project management, and clients can actually work with. You will set up and maintain databases, ensuring that data from telephony, ticketing, and CRM systems flows together cleanly. You will read data via interfaces and exports, clean it, and bring it into a reliable structure.

A large part of your work is automation. You will build workflows and automated processes, for example with n8n, Make, or your own scripts, so that recurring evaluations, data comparisons, and reports run without manual effort. You will work closely with our project managers and our IT department, and contribute your own ideas on what can be solved more easily and faster.

Qualifications

You have a deep understanding of numbers and can quickly identify if a metric is correct or if something is wrong. You are proficient in SQL and have experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL. You are comfortable working with common data formats such as CSV, JSON, XML, and Excel, and REST interfaces are nothing new to you.

You can program, ideally in Python or JavaScript, and have already built workflows or automations, preferably with tools like n8n, Make, or Zapier. Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio, or Metabase is a plus. Whether you have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Informatics, or Statistics, or have acquired the knowledge in practice, is not as important to us. What matters is what you can do.

You work independently and in a structured manner, document cleanly, and explain complex contexts so that everyone understands them. You speak German at a native level or at least C1/C2, and good English rounds off your profile.

Benefits

You work 100% remotely, regardless of whether you live in Germany, Spain, Poland, or any other European country. You will work with exciting data from many different client projects and have a lot of creative freedom because you will be building structures with us rather than just managing them. Our processes are short, decisions are made quickly, and you will work directly with management. In addition, you will join a supportive team and an employer that is growing.

Sound like you? Then apply directly here via JOIN with your CV and, if you like, a few sentences or examples of the evaluations or automations you have already built. We will discuss everything else regarding contract type, working hours, and remuneration together in the first interview. We look forward to hearing from you!
