Job Description

Organizations want to do more with data and AI, but the path to get there is often unclear. As a consultant, you will help our clients unlock the full potential of their data, from strategy to practical application. You will bridge the gap between technical data solutions and business objectives, enabling clients to make better, data-driven decisions.

About our team

We are a small, enthusiastic, and eager-to-learn team of three people. Communication lines are short, everyone has influence, and ideas are not only heard but also tried out.

Our focus is on the consulting side of data and AI. We guide organizations through AI transformations, always starting with the client's real problem. Then, we create roadmaps and support implementation. We work on data and AI governance, data and AI strategy, change management, and data quality. We constantly ask ourselves how we can do this smarter and more AI-driven, and thus use AI in our daily work.

Development is paramount. Do you have a different background in data management? We would still like to get to know you. We are eager to learn from your experiences.

What you will do

Consultancy and client engagement

• Be a trusted advisor for clients: understand their business challenge and offer a suitable approach for data management, data, and AI strategy.

• Facilitate workshops and sessions to gather needs, present findings, and make concrete recommendations.

• Guide clients through AI transformations, from problem analysis and roadmap to supporting implementation.

• Build strong client relationships, from which new opportunities for adesso arise.

Expertise in data management

• Advise on data governance, data strategy, and data architecture according to best practices.

• Assess existing data management processes, such as data quality, and propose improvements.

• Investigate how data management and data quality can become more AI-driven.

• Stay up-to-date with developments in data and AI and translate them into our service offerings.

Project management

• Lead data management projects from start to finish, within time, budget, and quality.

• Develop project plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other consultants.

Business development

• Contribute to propositions and use cases, and identify opportunities through your network.

• Contribute to proposals and presentations for new clients, together with the sales team.

What you bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a data environment, for example, as a data analyst or as a consultant focusing on data management.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in consulting, preferably at a reputable consultancy firm.

• Good understanding of data management concepts, such as data governance and data strategy.

• Experience in leading complex projects.

• You use AI in your work and are eager to discover with us what else is possible.

• Strong communication skills: you involve and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Flexible and eager to learn: you switch easily between clients, environments, and subjects.

• Fluent Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

Nice-to-have: knowledge of AI governance and data readiness for AI, and commercial insight.

What will you receive from us?

·       A salary of €5,400 to €6,600 gross per month (40 hours)

·       8% holiday allowance

·       Contract for 32 to 40 hours per week.
