The Dark Store Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse and fulfillment operations while ensuring exceptional customer experience through operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Manage daily dark store operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure timely order fulfillment and adherence to delivery SLAs.
• Monitor order flow and optimize operational efficiency.
• Drive process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational bottlenecks.

Inventory & Quality Control

• Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
• Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and inventory hygiene.
• Minimize shrinkage, damages, expiries, and stock discrepancies.
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate replenishment requirements.

Team Leadership

• Lead, train, and manage store associates, pickers, and packers.
• Prepare shift rosters and manpower plans.
• Track team performance and drive productivity improvements.
• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and operational excellence.

Performance & Compliance

• Track KPIs including order accuracy, fulfillment time, inventory accuracy, and productivity.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness, security, and operational readiness of the dark store.
• Prepare operational reports and share performance insights with leadership.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in warehouse, retail, quick commerce, logistics, or dark store operations.
• Experience managing teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and fulfillment processes.
• Proficiency with WMS, inventory tools, Excel, and operational dashboards.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• Experience in quick-commerce, e-commerce fulfillment, or grocery operations.
• Familiarity with SLA-driven fulfillment environments.
