Dairy Farm Tractor Operator

Apt Resources is seeking a dedicated Tractor Operator for a busy Dairy Farm in Abu Dhabi. You will operate and maintain crucial agricultural machinery, primarily tractors, and support essential farming tasks that are diverse and require a combination of technical knowledge, physical labor, and an understanding of farm management practices. Your role is vital to enhancing the farm's productivity and upholding quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive tractors and other farm machinery to carry out essential agricultural tasks on the farm.
• Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops used for dairy production
• Move feed, tools, equipment, and other products around the farm as needed to support daily operations.
• Conduct regular checks on tractors and machinery, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow established safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and properly stored to ensure smooth operations and safety.
• Work collaboratively with farm staff to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating tractors or agricultural machinery
• Knowledge of dairy farming operations is an advantage
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
