Then this position might be for you! Daimler Buses is looking for an Automotive Mechatronics Technician / Automotive Service Technician on a permanent basis for its workshop in Domdidier (Fribourg), starting immediately or by arrangement.

Do you have experience in the automotive sector but haven't worked with buses yet? That's not a problem: For Daimler Buses, the right attitude and the willingness to quickly learn new topics are most important.
In this role, you will perform the following activities:

• Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul work on coaches and city buses serviced by Daimler Buses.
• Diagnose faults and inspect and repair mechanical vehicle components and electronic systems.
• Prepare new vehicles.
• Document performed work.
• Occasionally take on the 24-hour on-call service; this will of course be compensated additionally.

• Completed vocational training in the automotive sector, for example as an Automotive Mechatronics Technician EFZ or Automotive Service Technician EFZ. A specialization in commercial vehicles is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Ideally, several years of professional experience; experience with buses is not mandatory.
• Good knowledge of German or French. Knowledge of the other language is welcome, but not a requirement.
• Independent, resilient, and flexible working style, as well as an open and team-oriented personality.
• Category C driver's license not mandatory; willingness to acquire it at a later date.
