Then this position might be for you! Daimler Buses is looking for an Automotive Mechatronics Technician / Automotive Specialist in permanent employment for the workshop in Domdidier (Fribourg), effective immediately or by arrangement.

Do you have experience in the automotive sector but haven't worked with buses yet? That's not a problem: For Daimler Buses, the right attitude and the willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics are most important.
In this role, you will undertake the following activities:

• Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul work on coaches and city buses serviced by Daimler Buses.
• Diagnose faults and test and repair mechanical vehicle components and electronic systems.
• Prepare new vehicles.
• Document the work performed.
• Occasionally take on the 24-hour on-call service; this will, of course, be additionally compensated.

• Completed vocational training in the automotive sector, for example, as an Automotive Mechatronics Technician EFZ or Automotive Specialist EFZ. A specialization in commercial vehicles is advantageous, but not a requirement.
• Ideally, several years of professional experience; experience with buses is not mandatory.
• Good knowledge of German or French. Knowledge of the other language is welcome, but not a requirement.
• Independent, resilient, and flexible working style, as well as an open and team-oriented personality.
• Driving license category C not mandatory; willingness to acquire it at a later date.
