DACH MAG Senior Workforce Capacity Planner (all genders)

Your Role

As a Senior Workforce Capacity Planner, you ensure that our production capacities and personnel resources are optimally aligned with the planned production demand. You translate production volumes and forecasts into concrete production, capacity, and personnel plans, ensuring that the right employees with the necessary qualifications are available at the right time.

Your focus is on medium- and short-term production planning as well as personnel and capacity planning. You identify bottlenecks early, evaluate different planning scenarios, and develop solutions together with the operational teams to reliably achieve our production goals.

You will work closely with Production, Workforce Planning, and other relevant interfaces, creating a robust planning basis for efficient production processes.

Your Area of Responsibility

• Production Planning: You create and optimize production plans based on forecasts and production requirements.
• Personnel Planning: You derive personnel requirements from production volumes, shift models, and productivity metrics, and align them with available resources.
• Capacity Planning: You analyze production capacities, identify bottlenecks early, and develop solutions for optimal utilization.
• Performance & Optimization: You analyze plan vs. actual deviations and develop measures to improve planning and productivity.
• Collaboration: You coordinate with Production, Workforce Planning, and other interfaces to ensure reliable and actionable planning.

Your Profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in Production Planning, Resource Planning, Scheduling, or Workforce Management, ideally in a dynamic, high-volume environment such as Manufacturing, FMCG, or E-Commerce.
• A strong understanding of capacity planning, resource management, and operational interdependencies.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
• You can analyze complex data and dependencies and derive clear, actionable decisions from them.
• You have a hands-on mentality and enjoy not only analyzing operational challenges but also implementing concrete solutions.
