[DACH MAG] Senior Production Planner

Your Role

As a Senior Production & Resource Planner (m/f/d), you are a central point of contact for the operational planning of our production site. You translate demand forecasts and business requirements into reliable capacity, personnel, and production plans and ensure that our production runs efficiently and reliably even with changing volumes.

You combine long-term capacity and personnel planning with short-term production control. You work with a high degree of independence, solve complex planning situations, and bring together different stakeholders to make practical, data-based decisions.

Your Area of Responsibility

• Strategic Planning: You develop long-term personnel and capacity plans and ensure that resources, shift models, and production volumes are optimally aligned.
• Production Control: You translate forecasts and production requirements into concrete daily and weekly plans, production orders, and batch planning.
• Anticipating Bottlenecks: You identify capacity, personnel, and production bottlenecks early on and develop solutions before they affect operational processes.
• Responding Dynamically: When forecasts, production conditions, or supply requirements change, you quickly adapt plans and ensure operational implementation.
• Keeping an Eye on Performance: You compare planning with actual performance, analyze deviations, and derive concrete improvement measures from them.
• Planning Better, Continuously Improving: You question existing planning processes, identify structural potential for improvement, and drive scalable solutions forward.
• Connecting Stakeholders: You work closely with Production, Workforce/Staffing, L&D, Tech, Procurement, Demand Steering, Forecasting, and Finance, ensuring a common planning basis.
• Taking Ownership: You manage your topics independently and take responsibility for complex planning issues – from analysis to implementation.

Your Profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in Production Planning, Resource Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Scheduling or Workforce Management, ideally in a dynamic, high-volume environment such as Manufacturing, FMCG, or E-Commerce.
• A strong understanding of capacity planning, resource control, and operational interdependencies.
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
• You can analyze complex data and dependencies and derive clear, actionable decisions from them.
• You work independently, structured, and solution-oriented – even when requirements change at short notice.
• You are able to bring together different interests, make trade-offs transparent, and maintain an overview even in complex coordination processes.
• You have a hands-on mentality and enjoy not only analyzing operational challenges but also implementing concrete solutions.
