We are looking for a D365 IT-Architect / Solution Architect who will support a significant global ERP-transformation initiative. The project includes the migration from a complex legacy system landscape to a standardized Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain environment, with focus on creating a unified global template and establishing a robust operating model.

Your tasks

• Support the RFP process in selecting an implementation partner.

• Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) for the phases of architectural planning and implementation.

• Lead the design and setup of a global ERP template based on harmonized processes and standard functionality.

• Perform discovery, blueprinting, and solution modeling activities to define the solution model.

• Define and establish the architectural framework and scope for worldwide introduction.

• Ensure architectural consistency and alignment with international standardization principles.

• Review and approve larger architectural changes, extensions, and technical integrations.

• Contribute to defining the rollout strategy and setting up a rollout factory model.

• Support in developing governance structures and operating models for the new ERP environment.

• Check configurations and integration patterns to ensure a clean-core approach.

Must-Requirements

• Extensive experience as an IT-Architect or Solution Architect in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain (F&O) environments.

• Notable successes in supporting the RFP process and partner selection for ERP implementations.

• Expertise in architectural quality assurance (QA) and defining architectural guidelines.

• Extensive experience in conceiving and developing global ERP templates for rollouts across multiple companies.

• High competence in the architectural principles 'Standard-First' and 'Clean-Core', minimizing user-defined code and proprietary layers.

Can-Requirements

• Experience with transitioning and migrating from legacy ERP layers or branch-specific proprietary solutions to standard D365 F&O.

• Familiarity with common ISV integrations for D365, e.g. Medius or bank automation solutions.

• Knowledge of Microsoft FastTrack guidelines and automated testing strategies in the D365 ecosystem.

• Experience in a multi-layered governance structure that includes architecture committees and change control boards.
