Cybersecurity Project Manager
Job description
We are currently looking for a Project Manager with a strong track record in Cybersecurity to lead key IT security initiatives for our global client. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role, requiring deep knowledge of cybersecurity domains, technical fluency, and the ability to challenge and coordinate with cyber SMEs and architects.
YOU WILL
- Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity initiatives across global IT environments;
- Work closely with technical SMEs, solution architects, and security experts to ensure alignment and accountability;
- Define project scope, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans;
- Coordinate internal and external teams to ensure delivery across infrastructure, security, and compliance workstreams;
- Provide project reporting, executive summaries, and risk dashboards to leadership;
- Ensure adherence to internal cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements;
- Track project progress, manage timelines, and resolve roadblocks in cooperation with stakeholders;
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing cybersecurity-related projects in large-scale IT environments;
- Solid understanding of key cybersecurity domains (e.g., identity & access management, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, threat detection);
- Ability to collaborate and challenge technical teams (SMEs, architects, engineers) on solution design and delivery approach;
- Proven skills in project governance, stakeholder management, and risk reporting;
- Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies;
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOX);
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize technical detail into business-friendly language;
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, SharePoint or equivalent tools;
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage parallel streams independently.
