Cybersecurity Consultant – Palo Alto Networks (m/f/d)

With currently 34 employees in Germany, we are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant with a focus on the Palo Alto Networks portfolio to strengthen our consulting team.

What awaits you:
In this role, you will take on customer projects independently from the initial concept to successful implementation. You will not only be a technical expert but also the face of Nomios to the customer – you will conduct presentations and workshops independently and convince with profound technical knowledge and a confident demeanor.

Your tasks:

• Independent planning, management, and implementation of customer projects related to the Palo Alto Networks portfolio, from concept to Go-Live

• Conception and implementation of security architectures based on Next-Generation Firewalls, Panorama Management, Prisma Access (SASE), Prisma Cloud, and Cortex XDR

• Analysis and evaluation of customer requirements as well as development of precisely tailored solutions for the Palo Alto portfolio

• Conducting technical presentations, workshops, and solution demonstrations directly with the customer, at both specialist and management levels

• Creation of High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) as well as technical documentation

• Planning and execution of Proofs-of-Concept, installations, and configurations in customer environments

• Close coordination with sales and internal specialist teams throughout the entire project cycle, from the offer phase to handover to operations

• Continuous further training and certification in the Palo Alto environment to always contribute up-to-date manufacturer knowledge

• Several years of demonstrable professional experience as a security specialist with a focus on Palo Alto Networks

• Fortinet and/or CrowdStrike knowledge is an advantage

• Experience in the independent management of consulting or customer projects without close supervision

• Confident, convincing demeanor as well as strong presentation and communication skills in direct customer contact

• Profound understanding of Next-Generation Firewalls, SASE/Zero-Trust architectures, as well as cloud and endpoint security

• Structured, solution-oriented work approach and high level of initiative

• Fluent German and good English skills

Preferred certifications:

• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)

• Palo Alto Networks Certified Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE)

• Fortinet NSE (Network Security Expert), e.g., NSE 4–7

• CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Administrator / Responder (CCFA / CCFR)

• Comparable manufacturer-specific certifications in the security environment
