Job description

Job Title: Cyber-security Specialist Job Summary: Our client, a leading provider of Legal Technology software (SaaS) into the legal market, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cyber-security Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting the organisation's computer systems and networks from cyber threats and attacks. This role involves identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, monitoring networks for breaches, and responding to incidents in accordance with established procedures. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses; • Implementing and maintaining a robust security posture through the use of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools; • Monitoring networks for breaches and responding promptly to incidents; • Collaborating with the IT team to ensure that all computer systems and networks are properly configured and secured; • Providing training and guidance to employees on cybersecurity best practices and procedures; • Staying up-to-date with emerging cyber threats and trends, and implementing measures to mitigate them. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; • 3+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role; • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and security principles; • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems; • Familiarity with incident response procedures and frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001; • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
