To further expand our market position and strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a Cyber Security Officer (w/m/d) starting on October 1, 2026:

Aufgaben

• Advising the IT leadership on IT security risks and protection measures
• Development and maintenance of security governance, guidelines, and standards (including compliance)
• Conducting risk and security assessments for systems, cloud, and service providers
• Steering security-relevant transformation initiatives (e.g. Cloud, Zero Trust, AI)
• Maintaining an eye on threats and vulnerabilities and deriving countermeasures
• Liaising and coordinating in the event of security incidents including cause analysis
• Planning and steering audits, penetration tests, and follow-up measures
• Defining security requirements for projects, systems, and suppliers
• Selecting and evaluating security technologies and service providers
• Training and advising internal stakeholders
• Sporadic support of the IT team in 3rd-level support

Qualifikation

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT-related field
• Persuasive German and English language skills
• Fundamental knowledge of Cyber Risk Management, Compliance, and Security Governance
• Experience in threat and vulnerability management as well as incident response
• Very good knowledge of network, application, and cloud security
• Handling security monitoring and SIEM systems as well as penetration tests
• Knowledge of emergency management, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• A strong service-oriented approach, sense of responsibility, and hands-on mentality
• Teamwork skills and excellent communication strength
• Experience with SOPHOS environments in securing AD/AAD and EXL and in the ISO 27001 area
