Tasks

• Evaluation of IT security risks and coordination of suitable measures.
• Further development and assurance of network- and security-standards.
• Participation in the implementation of regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001, NIS2 and BSI IT-Ground Protection.
• Care and continuous optimization of SIEM-, EDR- and XDR-solutions.
• Development of detection rules, use cases, alerts and automated reaction measures.
• Conducting security reviews and supporting internal and external audits.
• Observation of current threat situations and evaluation of new security technologies and attack methods.

Qualification

• Completed studies in computer science, IT-security or a comparable field or equivalent training with relevant professional experience.
• Multiple years of practical experience in IT-security, for example as Cyber-Security Engineer, Security Analyst, SOC Analyst or Security Administrator.
• Fundamental knowledge in at least three of the following areas: SIEM and security monitoring, endpoint detection and response, network- and firewall-security, cloud security, identity and access management, vulnerability management, incident response.
• Safe understanding of network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VPN, VLAN and TLS.
• Experience with Microsoft-, Linux- or hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Fundamental knowledge of typical attack methods and common protection and detection measures.
