As a Cyber Security Engineer, you are part of our Security Team and contribute to the continuous further development of our security architecture, early detection of threats, and professional handling of security incidents.

Your Tasks

• Independent planning, coordination, and advancement of security work packages – from conception to implementation

• Development and optimization of detection engineering approaches for early detection of cyber threats

• Conception of secure platforms and networks as well as evaluation, design, and integration of complex security solutions, processes, and tools

• Analysis and prioritization of security alerts as well as continuous optimization of detection mechanisms

• Execution and support of vulnerability management from detection to patching

• Execution and support of hardening tests and security audits

• Participation in security incidents and in the regular 24/7 on-call service

We are looking for doers

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a comparable qualification with corresponding professional experience

• Initial practical experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a comparable security environment

• Experience with SIEM systems, ideally Splunk Enterprise, as well as other security tools

• Broad knowledge in Cyber Security and IT, especially with Windows and Linux platforms

• Understanding of modern cloud and SaaS architectures

• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
