Our origins inspire our culture of curiosity and passion to develop solutions designed around people - these are some of the core elements that make us unique. We are driven by our values of being trusted, sustainably minded, innovative, generous, and curious. As a team we take a collaborative approach and have a working environment where all ideas are heard, evaluated, and tested against our values. This role is an exciting opportunity to join our Cyber Security Team as a Cyber Security Engineer for a 9-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Fisher & Paykel's cyber security posture. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining threat intelligence feeds and dashboards to support incident response and threat hunting activities. • Collaborating with the Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC) team to identify and respond to potential security incidents. • Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and prioritize remediation efforts. • Providing technical guidance and support to other teams within Fisher & Paykel on cyber security best practices and controls. • Staying up-to-date with the latest cyber security threats, trends, and technologies to continuously improve our security posture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber security, with experience in threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, information assurance) is required, as well as relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent. In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including: • 9-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role. • A comprehensive induction program to ensure you have all the tools and support needed to succeed in your new role. • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities to help you grow and develop as a cyber security professional. • A dynamic and supportive work environment with a strong focus on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. If you're passionate about staying ahead of the curve in cyber security and want to join a global company that values its people, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your application, including your CV and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and qualifications for this role.
