Cyber Security Analyst (m/w/d)

As Cyber Security Analyst (m/w/d) you will take a central role in monitoring, analyzing and further developing information security. You combine fundamental technical knowledge with a deep understanding of risk management, compliance requirements and modern cyber-security processes.

Aufgaben
- Analyze and monitoring of IT security processes, applications and systems to ensure a safe operation
- Identification and evaluation of security incidents, anomalies and potential vulnerabilities including the development of suitable countermeasures
- Risk management and escalation through evaluating threat scenarios, creating reaction strategies and introducing necessary measures
- Conducting audits and compliance checks as well as documenting the fulfillment of defined security requirements
- Maintenance and further development of the cyber-security risk register as well as continuous evaluation of new security risks
- Support in security projects through participation in security concepts, technical solutions, change processes and optimization of analysis, monitoring and reporting tools
Qualifikation
- Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or a comparable qualification as well as several years of professional experience in the IT or information security field
- Fundamental knowledge in Cyber Security and Information Security, particularly in the areas of security concepts, vulnerability management, encryption, risk analysis and compliance
- Experience in administering Windows- and Linux-based systems as well as knowledge of network technologies, VPN solutions, firewalls and monitoring and log management systems
- Knowledge of software development and automation, preferably with Python, Django, databases and scripting solutions for analyzing and processing log data
- Understanding of current cyber threats, security standards and regulatory requirements as well as experience in creating security concepts, system designs and technical documentation
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, ISC², ISACA or comparable qualifications are an advantage
- Analytical thinking, self-initiative and high problem-solving competence
