Cutting Tools/Abrasives Applications Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Cutting Tools/Abrasives Applications Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Cutting Tools/Abrasives Applications Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and support to our customers in utilizing cutting tools and abrasives effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers to understand their specific cutting tool and abrasive application requirements
• Manage the cost savings process using company software and technologies
• Support supplier tool testing on the shop floor
• Take formal monthly meetings with the key suppliers (tooling manufacturers) and track KPI’s
• Register and track all supplier visits
• Data and technical support at company meetings with the Customer 
• Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers to ensure smooth implementation
• Data analysis
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cutting tool and abrasive technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in the application of cutting tools and abrasives in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem-solve effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
