Customs Broker - Airport Oaks

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customs Broker to join our operations team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth customs clearance for both imports and exports, including MPI clearances, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams. What You’ll Do Arrange customs and MPI clearance for imported goods across New Zealand Request and verify documentation from clients for shipments Create and manage “B” jobs (brokerage-only shipments) in eTrays Ensure all shipment data is accurate and up-to-date Manage and maintain accurate records of all transactions, including invoices and payments Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient customs clearance Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure long-term business growth and success What We’re Looking For A degree in a relevant field (e.g. commerce, logistics) 2+ years of experience as a Customs Broker or similar role Strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results What We Offer Competitive salary package Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Collaborative and dynamic work environment Opportunities for career growth and advancement
