CUSTOMS ASSISTANT MANAGER

Objective : Ensure Customs Compliance of the Foreign Trade Operations, ensuring that all goods are properly cleared through customs, and all necessary documentation is accurate and complete. This role is responsible for managing a team of customs assistants, providing guidance and training to ensure compliance with customs regulations and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in customs clearance, trade compliance, and supply chain management. Key responsibilities include: • Managing the customs clearance process from start to finish, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete. • Providing guidance and training to customs assistants on customs regulations and procedures. • Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and procedures, including classification, valuation, and origin of goods. • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of customs operations into the overall supply chain. • Developing and implementing processes and procedures to improve customs clearance efficiency and accuracy. • Maintaining accurate records and reports on customs clearance activities. • Staying up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and procedures, and implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance.
