CUSTOMS AND TRANSPORT SPECIALIST

Are you an organizational talent with a passion for logistics and customs formalities? As a Customs and Transport Specialist in Arendonk (Antwerp, Belgium), you will play a key role in facilitating international trade and transport processes at a leading, innovative company specializing in packaging machines. In this role, you will be responsible for the correct application of customs formalities and the management of customs-related master data. You will work closely with the Sales Team and act as the point of contact for customs during application processes. Additionally, you will take action in implementing customs-specific software and maintain contact with carriers. You will make your mark by bringing improvements to internal processes related to document storage and transport cost planning.

As a candidate, you meet the following criteria:

• You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, customs, or transport.
• Knowledge of customs legislation and formalities is required.
• Experience with customs software is a strong asset.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch, English, and, preferably, German.
• You are eager to learn and stay up-to-date with changing laws and regulations.
• You are solution-oriented, customer-oriented, and function well in an independent work environment.
• You have excellent negotiation skills and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and carriers.
