Customer Risk Manager in Financial Sector (m/w/d)

Tasks

• You are responsible for customer risk management for project customers and steer risk-related processes along the customer relationship.
• You organize and accompany due diligence reviews for customers and external service providers.
• You identify risks at the company level and develop, together with teams, suitable risk mitigation measures taking into account regulatory requirements (e.g. MaRisk, DORA, ZAG).
• You accompany, monitor, evaluate, and enable strategic initiatives and projects in terms of risks and the effectiveness of risk management measures.
• You support risk policy issues, particularly in developing and implementing a system for risk limitation.
• You assess customer risks and make decisions on behalf of the customer for risk mitigation measures.
• You promote company-wide awareness of risk management and sensitize employees to risk-aware behavior.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

Qualification

• You have at least two years of experience in risk management in the financial sector.

• You bring experience in payment transactions and knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g. MaRisk, ZAG, DORA).

• You think analytically and strategically and work solution-oriented.

• You communicate clearly, work well in a team, and take responsibility.

• You enjoy complex tasks and show initiative.

• You are proficient in German and have good English skills.

• You have experience with Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence (optional).

• You have SQL knowledge for data analysis.
