Summary The Customer Engineer Manager (CEM) is responsible for leading a team of Customer Engineers, providing technical leadership, and ensuring the success of Applied Materials equipment and processes at the customer site. This role involves managing customer relationships, resolving technical issues, and driving continuous improvement in equipment performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities * Manage and lead a team of Customer Engineers. * Provide technical guidance and support to the team. * Ensure equipment uptime and performance meet customer expectations. * Manage and resolve technical issues. * Build and maintain strong customer relationships. * Drive continuous improvement in equipment performance and customer satisfaction. * Manage team performance through goal setting, coaching, and performance reviews. * Ensure the team follows safety procedures and protocols. * Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Service, to meet customer needs. * Manage budgets and resources for the team. * Develop and implement strategies to improve team efficiency and effectiveness. * Travel to customer sites as needed. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. * Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred. * Previous experience in a leadership role. * Strong technical background in semiconductor equipment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to manage multiple priorities. * Strong problem-solving skills. * Familiarity with customer service principles. * Ability to travel as required.
