Te whiwhinga mahi: The opportunity We have an exciting new opportunity for a part-time Cultural Support Advisor to have a leading role in strengthening cultural competency for the Nurse Practitioners (NP) Training Support Scheme. Provide expert cultural mentorship ensuring equitable and culturally safe practice, recruitment, training and support for trainees. Collaborate with Regional Programme Coordinators, the NP Lead, key stakeholders and build and maintain meaningful relationships within our diverse communities. Develop and implement strategies to promote cultural competency, provide guidance on cultural awareness and sensitivity, and contribute to the development of culturally responsive resources. Foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and understanding by promoting diversity, equity, and accessibility in all aspects of the NP Training Support Scheme. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that our trainees are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality, patient-centered care that is grounded in cultural safety principles.
