Join our team today!CT TechnologistJob Summary: We are seeking a CT Technologist to join our Radiology department at St. David's Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in computed tomography (CT) imaging and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Perform high-quality CT scans on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of patient exams and results. Participate in quality control activities to ensure optimal equipment performance. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and colleagues. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred. Completion of a radiologic technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT). Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in CT, MRI, or RT(R)(CT) required. One year of experience in CT imaging preferred. Ability to lift and move patients and equipment up to 50 pounds. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
