Cruise & Vacation Specialist

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Cruise & Vacation Specialist to join our remote travel team. In this role, you will help clients plan, book, and enjoy unforgettable cruise vacations and leisure travel experiences. Key Responsibilities: Client Consultation: Engage with clients via phone, email, or in-person meetings to understand their travel preferences, needs, and budget. Provide personalized recommendations and solutions to meet their expectations. Vacation Planning: Research and recommend various cruise and vacation options, including itineraries, accommodations, and activities, to ensure a memorable experience. Booking and Coordination: Process bookings, make travel arrangements, and coordinate logistics to ensure a seamless travel experience. Follow-up and Support: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Additional Responsibilities: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and supplier information to maintain a high level of expertise. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues, share best practices, and improve processes. Maintain accurate records and reports to track client interactions, sales, and performance metrics. Requirements: 2+ years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in a cruise or vacation planning role. Strong knowledge of cruise lines, destinations, and travel products. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to learn new software and systems. Certification in travel industry-related fields, such as ARC, IATA, or CLIA, is a plus.
