Cross Platform Producer & Editor - 12 months Contract (Mumbai/New Delhi) Are you a digital-first storyteller passionate about turning complex ideas into compelling video content? Our client, a world-leading organization in finance and news media, is seeking a versatile Multimedia Producer/Shooter/Editor to create short-form, non-fiction videos that inform, engage, and inspire. This is a 12-month, full-time contract role based in Mumbai or New Delhi . This role is ideal for a digital-first visual storyteller who thrives in fast-paced environments and has experience working with cross-platform content. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, shooting, editing, and delivering high-quality video content across multiple platforms. Key responsibilities include: • Developing concepts and storyboards for short-form videos • Researching and gathering footage, interviews, and other visual elements • Shooting and editing video content using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) • Collaborating with writers, producers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of video content into overall editorial strategy • Ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, creativity, and technical excellence • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in multimedia production • Working closely with the editorial team to develop a deep understanding of their needs and priorities • Delivering high-quality video content that meets the client's expectations and exceeds their standards • Participating in regular project meetings and providing updates on progress • Maintaining accurate records of time spent, expenses incurred, and other relevant details for invoicing purposes • Adapting to changing priorities, deadlines, and workflows as needed • Working independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment • Meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including editors, producers, and other team members • Participating in training sessions, workshops, or conferences to stay current with industry developments and best practices • Any other duties as assigned by the client or supervisor Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in multimedia production (video editing, shooting, and storytelling) • Strong understanding of video production principles, including concept development, storyboarding, shooting, and editing • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) • Experience working with cross-platform content (social media, YouTube, websites, etc.) • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to learn new skills and technologies • Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, Journalism, or related field • Fluency in English (written and spoken) • Familiarity with Indian culture and customs is an asset Benefits: • Opportunity to work on high-profile projects with a world-leading organization in finance and news media • Collaborative and dynamic work environment • Professional development opportunities through training sessions, workshops, or conferences • Competitive compensation package • 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position
