Crew Leader for Set-Up and Tear-Down Operations (m/w/d)

We are a modern, expanding service provider as a municipal company and operate four event venues. We organize our own events and plan events on behalf of our customers. The focus of the events is on conferences, trade fairs, and congresses, but also on social and cultural events.

Tasks

• Responsible set-up and tear-down of seating, bars, standing tables, small stages, and exhibition walls and equipment
• Efficient execution of set-up work during events
• Professional loading and unloading of equipment for events
• Taking overall responsibility for the assigned area and the external team
• Execution of minor repair, painting, and handyman tasks
• Operational leadership and on-site supervision
• Careful execution of administrative tasks
• Accurate check-in of set-up and tear-down crews
• Effective communication with colleagues on project changes such as schedule changes or adjustments to the crew strength
• Competent personnel management and coordination of external crews on site
• Ensuring the observance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and all other safety measures
• Responsibility for the proper return of work tools
• Professional event management of fairs, markets, and similar events

Qualification

• A completed education
• Industry-specific knowledge and/or several years of professional experience
• A high level of customer orientation, social competence, willingness to learn, flexibility, and stress tolerance
• Organizational strength and forward-thinking work style
• A valid class B driver's license is required
• Reliable and conscientious work
• Readiness to work late evenings or nights
• Physical fitness
• A valid general health certificate
