Creativity Afterschool Club Instructor
Job description
Good day, everyone!
We are looking for enthusiastic, patient, and creative Creativity Club Instructors to lead afterschool clubs for primary-aged children. Applicants can choose to teach one or multiple clubs depending on interest and availability. Materials are provided by the school, and this is a paid role.
Available Clubs:
Lego Afterschool Club – every TUESDAY, 4:00–5:00 PM, in a primary school in the Clapton area E5, Years 1–4, £40/hr
Knit & Stitch Afterschool Club – every WEDNESDAY, 3:45–4:45 PM, in a primary school in the Hackney area E8, Years 3–6, £40/hr
Board Games, Lego & Origami Afterschool Club – every THURSDAY, 3:45–4:45 PM, in a primary school in the Hackney area E8, Years 1–2, £35/hr
Responsibilities:
Lead creative, age-appropriate sessions
Encourage teamwork, focus, and creativity
Manage materials and tidy up efficiently
Maintain a safe, structured, and enjoyable environment
Communicate effectively with school staff and Dance&Arts coordinators
Follow safeguarding and health & safety guidelines
Experience and Skills:
Experience teaching creative activities to primary-aged children
Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic teaching style
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Enhanced DBS: Must hold or be willing to obtain one (guidelines provided)
