Job description

We are looking to elevate the health of dogs through nutrition to a new level. Instead of one-size-fits-all, we set out to develop race-specific, functional feed with veterinarians and the goal of enabling every dog to live a long and healthy life.

What started as an idea in 2022 is today a strong-growing DTC subscription model with over 20,000 dogs served. Our 15-person team should grow to over 35 by the end of 2026 – now is the perfect time to join.

Our claim does not stop at the product and also not at the creative – we think the entire journey: from the first hook to the conversion in the shop. Creative Strategy is not just nice-to-have, but the foundation to really reach our target groups.

And here you come into play: You understand not only numbers, but also people – their lifestyles, motivations, emotions, and purchasing decisions. You recognize patterns, test hypotheses, and develop new ideas and approaches. For customer journeys that not only convince, but also measurably successful are.

You want to develop ideas, but see real impact – data-based, customer-centered, and with creative excellence? Then let's talk.

Aufgaben

  • You understand and analyze our target groups comprehensively and in-depth – using existing qualitative and quantitative insights and supplementing them as needed through your own research or collaboration with other teams (e.g. product, customer research)
  • Based on the company's and new customer acquisition strategy, you develop hypothesis-driven, target-group-optimized full-funnel concepts for our paid channels – from the first hook to the final conversion in the subscription shop
  • You own the corresponding testing roadmap, which you prioritize and align with channel responsible persons based on potential impact and feasibility
  • You use targeted advertising and consumer psychology as well as the principles of direct-response marketing, to emotionally and persuasively shape all steps of the funnel.
  • You conceptualize the planned tests, prepare briefings for the performance marketing and shop team, and ensure the implementation regarding timeline, consistency, and quality
  • You establish a weekly tracking, including clearly defined KPIs – both on the performance side as well as in the shop (e.g. CPMs, CTRs, on-site click- and conversion-rates) – and conduct further analyses as needed to validate your hypotheses
  • You duplicate the results structuredly and build a comprehensive learning database, which serves as the basis for your constant optimization of the roadmap, tests, and results

Qualifikation

  • Erfahrung: You have at least 3 years of experience in a comparable role, ideally in the D2C field with full-funnel approaches as part of new customer acquisition strategy
  • Pyschology meets Performance: You bring strong interest or background in advertising and consumer psychology and know how to use psychological principles and direct-response mechanisms strategically in performance marketing and shop
  • (Dog)-Customer Obsession: You know the lifestyle of dog owners – whether through personal connection or professional experience – and have fun diving deeper into their needs, decision-making processes, and purchase hurdles
  • Analytically-creative Allrounder: You know the relevant KPIs on performance and shop side, are analytically strong, and can connect quantitative test results with your comprehensive understanding of target groups, marketing, product, market, and competition – to derive continuous, well-founded ideas and optimization approaches for your roadmap
  • Structured, proactive & implementation-strong: You work very structuredly, precisely, and quickly – with high self-expectations regarding your results as well as detail-orientedness when necessary
  • Project- and Stakeholder-Management: You have experience in setting up and conducting cross-functional projects, are communicative, and enjoy taking all stakeholders proactively along, solving problems, and ensuring progress
  • You are familiar with tools like Meta Ads Manager, GA4, and Shopify (attribution tools are a plus) and work yourself quickly and independently into new tools

Benefits

💡Much responsibility and design freedom: You get real ownership area – and the chance to shape your role actively with your input and tempo

📈Fast development possible: Whoever gives gas at our company, grows with it – in responsibility, competence, and perspective

💬 Open and honest communication: We live direct exchange, give clear feedback, and look forward to your input

📚 Individual training budget: We invest in your personal and professional development – because your growth is also our growth

🎟️ Access to Corporate Benefits and Wellpass: So you can also treat yourself well outside of work

We value Diversity! 🌈
