Job description

About Us

Kijimea – From Research. For Your Life. Since our founding in 2011, we have pursued a clear vision: We want to harness the potential of the microbiota (bacteria) in our gut specifically for a longer and healthier life – for everyone.

We achieved a first major milestone as early as 2013 with the discovery and clinical research of the unique bacterial strain B. bifidum MIMBb75 (Kijimea Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Since then, we have been able to noticeably improve the lives of millions of irritable bowel syndrome patients worldwide. Today, B. bifidum MIMBb75 is one of the most well-researched bacterial strains worldwide. Its effectiveness and unique mechanism of action have been proven and published in numerous clinical studies – including in renowned specialist journals such as The Lancet.

We work with leading research institutions such as Charité Berlin to investigate the connections between the microbiota (bacteria in our gut) and allergies, skin diseases, and mental disorders. In short: We are investigating how the bacteria in our gut influence a longer and healthier life.

Today, we are among the fastest-growing healthcare companies worldwide. We reach our customers through a wide variety of channels: through direct communication with doctors and pharmacists, as well as print, TV, and digital marketing. To further expand our rapidly growing business in Europe, we are looking for outstanding talents to support us in this mission. Our goal is clearly defined: By 2028, we want to make Kijimea the world's largest DTC probiotic brand, thereby giving over 50 million people a better life annually.

Does this sound exciting to you? Then apply now! We look forward to getting to know you.

Your Mission With Us

Do you want to contribute to bridging the gap between clinical research and convincing messages for patients with compelling creatives in one of Europe's fastest-growing healthcare companies? Are you driven by the question of why certain health messages work, and are you ready to take ownership of the insights and processes that optimize our entire creative pipeline? Then you are exactly right with us!

We are looking for a Creative Strategist (m/f/d) for Kijimea, starting immediately. You will be part of a team that consistently focuses on clarity, science, and customer behavior. Together, we will unlock new growth opportunities by systematically testing creative concepts and further expanding our position as the most trusted, data-driven brand in the digestive health category.

Your Responsibilities

  • You conduct quantitative and qualitative market and target group analyses to gain a well-founded understanding of the target groups' preferences, motives, and needs.

  • You write direct-response scripts for video content, using storytelling elements to capture attention and argue convincingly.

  • You create clear, data-based briefings for our agency partners to ensure the creation of compelling content.

  • You dive deep into performance data and identify why a creative won or lost – whether it was the hook, the medical claim, or the visual format – and feed the learnings directly back into production.

  • You proactively contribute ideas that support our online campaign goals and integrate seamlessly into the overall strategy.

Your Profile

  • You hold a degree or have completed vocational training, for example, in Communication Sciences, Business Psychology, Journalism, or Marketing.

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in Creative Strategy (ideally in an agency or a startup/scale-up) and want to apply and further develop your skills with one of the world's fastest-growing healthcare players.

  • You understand that content on platforms like Meta or YouTube is a crucial performance driver and are eager to develop and test new formats and angles.

  • You work data-based and go into detail analytically; whether it's commercial KPIs like ROAS or CPO, or click, hook, or engagement rates.

  • You work extremely structured, meticulously, and reliably.

  • You have excellent German language skills (minimum C1 level) and good English language skills (minimum B2 level).

Our Promise

We offer you a diverse, challenging job with exciting tasks and a broad spectrum of creative possibilities! Our innovative environment allows for your professional development with short decision-making processes, responsibility from day one, and the freedom to forge new paths. Individual learning and genuine purpose await you – give millions of people a new life with your personal contribution!
