Cover Supervisor

COVER SUPERVISOR Required ASAP Permanent post, 19.5 hours (3 days) per week, term time only. SLT support payscale grade D, pro rata of £25,583 - £26,403 fte (actual starting salary £11,273.92 - £11,635.27 based on 19.5 hours per week) We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, confident and skilled Cover Supervisor to join our team of professionals as soon as possible. The key role of a Cover Supervisor is to work closely with our students across a range of subjects and to ensure they maintain their learning momentum during the absence of their teacher. This will involve delivering lessons in a variety of subjects, including English, maths, science, humanities and physical education, as well as supporting students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers and parents. They will also have a proven track record of being able to manage challenging behaviour effectively, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
