Te Haeata/The Opportunity
As a Court Registry Officer, you'll be at the heart of the justice system, ensuring the smooth running of court operations. Every day brings variety and impact as you work alongside Judges, lawyers, police, and members of the public. Your role is vital in ensuring fair and timely access to justice in the District Court for everyone awaiting their cases to be heard and determined.
What you'll do:
* Court Taking: Be the maestro of courtroom operations! From introducing Judges (in English and Te Reo Māori) to keeping proceedings running smoothly and ensuring all required technology is in working order.
* Case Management: You will be responsible for updating case files and handling a significant amount of data entry, including coding invoices. To keep cases on track, you'll maintain accurate records, schedule hearings, and ensure all parties receive the necessary information in a timely manner.
* Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to court users via face-to-face, phone, and email interactions.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The remuneration band for this role is $59,729 to $80,794 – the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
