Country Manager

Position purpose: To plan, co-ordinate, coach and manage the day-to-day running of the pharmaceutical business in the country, with the view to enabling the company achieve its overall sales and profits objectives for retail and institutional business units. Job Responsibilities: Provides strategic direction to the sales and marketing team to ensure delivery of business objectives. Implements approved promotional plans through the Medical Representatives to achieve the set objectives. Oversees the development and implementation of the country's business plan, ensuring alignment with the company's global strategy. Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulatory authorities. Manages and develops a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Ensures compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Analyzes market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions and drive growth. Identifies and mitigates risks associated with the country's pharmaceutical business. Collaborates with other Country Managers and global teams to share best practices, leverage expertise, and drive business results.
