Country Finance Director

Country Finance Director Multinational Manufacturing Company | Monterrey Area Position Overview Senior leadership role responsible for driving financial strategy, performance, governance, and administrative excellence across multiple manufacturing sites in Mexico. This position acts as a key business partner to regional and global leadership, ensuring alignment with corporate financial policies, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and long-term strategic objectives. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing comprehensive financial strategies and plans for multiple manufacturing sites, aligned with corporate goals and objectives. • Providing financial guidance and support to regional and global leadership teams, ensuring alignment with corporate financial policies and procedures. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency, improve processes, and optimize resources. • Ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining accurate and timely financial records. • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including site leaders, department heads, and external partners. • Identifying and mitigating financial risks, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing corrective actions as needed. • Providing training and guidance to finance team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement. The ideal candidate will possess: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. • Minimum 8 years of experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment. • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop actionable recommendations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. • Proven track record of driving financial performance improvement, process optimization, and regulatory compliance. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate financial risks. • Certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly desirable.
