Job Title: Admission Counsellor/ Senior Admission Counsellor (Telecounseling) Organization: Chandigarh University Location: Gharuan, Mohali, Punjab Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent Work Mode: On-site Shift: Day Shift (9:30 AM – 5:30 PM) Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹32,500 per month Performance-Based Incentives Role Overview We are looking for dynamic and target-driven Admission Counselors to join our admissions team. The role involves guiding prospective students and parents, managing inquiries, and ensuring that all applicants have a smooth and successful application process. Key Responsibilities • Manage and respond to all incoming inquiries from prospective students and parents in a timely manner. • Provide guidance and support to prospective students and parents throughout the application process. • Ensure that all applicants are aware of the admission requirements and deadlines. • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all applications are reviewed and processed efficiently. • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential partners, including schools, colleges, and universities. • Participate in recruitment events, open houses, and other activities to promote the university's programs and services. • Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the admissions process. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. • Work closely with the Admissions Committee to make informed decisions about applicant admission. • Develop and implement strategies to increase student enrollment and retention rates. • Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, including students, parents, and partners. • Maintain accurate records and reports of all interactions, inquiries, and applications. • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
