Counsellor/Psychologist/Psychotherapist - ACC Sensitive Claims

Keep your contract work & rates part-time, and balance it with a part-time supportive employed role in a collaborative MDT with peer support.

We're growing a specialist service and are on the lookout for passionate clinicians who want to do meaningful work supporting people through ACC Sensitive Claims. What you can expect

Work shoulder-to-shoulder with experienced colleagues across counselling, psychology, psychotherapy, and general healthcare to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy.

Some responsibilities may include:

• Completing comprehensive assessments & developing tailored support plans
• Delivering treatment and rehabilitation specific to each client's needs
• Providing trauma-informed care, risk and crisis intervention
• Collaborating with wider health professionals to ensure continuity of care

What we are looking for

• Registered clinicians with a current APC (counsellors, psychologists, psychotherapists)
• Registered with ACC for Sensitive Claims
• Prior experience within the New Zealand healthcare system
• Proven use of evidence-based approaches (CBT, ACT, mindfulness, etc.)
• Experience working with sensitive claims or similar trauma-informed practice
• Compassionate, culturally aware, and committed to supporting others
