Council Team Driver Parks Maintenance:
A local Council in Sydney, is seeking an experienced Team Driver Parks Maintenance to join their Parks and Open Space team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience operating tractors and mowing equipment who enjoys working outdoors and contributing to the presentation of public parks, reserves, and open spaces.Key Responsibilities
- Perform large-scale mowing of parks, reserves, sports fields, and open spaces.
- Operate slashing, flail mowing, and other tractor attachments.
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance.
- Identify and report hazards, equipment faults, and safety issues.
- Assist with general parks and gardens maintenance duties as required.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Council safety procedures.
- Maintain equipment and work areas to a high standard.
- AQF3 chemical accreditation
- Chainsaw qualifications and horticultural training & experience
- A white card and driver's license are essential
- Tractor or equipment operating experience
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
