Cost Management Associate Director - NHP

Role Purpose:

This role will sit in the Data, Tools & Policies team which is dedicated to analytics and data management. This role focuses on ensuring the effective use of data tools and adherence to policies, driving operational excellence through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

o Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.

o Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

o Lead on development of Cost Estimate Templates, Cost Breakdown Structures, development of new templates and tools to support progressive and proactive cost assurance and understand the workflow and process.

o Understand previous process, lessons learnt and how we can build this into new processes and tools.

o Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of data. This includes wider engagement with Trusts and NHP Finance and understanding how they feed into the process.

o Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through robust processes, tools and engagement

o Develop and maintain data management policies and procedures including roll-out and training as required

o Utilise data tools to generate actionable insights and trends and feed back into HDP

o Create and maintain dashboards and reports to support decision-making.

o Collaborate with other departments both within HDP and wider NHP to understand their data needs and provide solutions.

o Implement and manage data tools and software

o Ensure compliance with data policies and regulations.

o Continuously evaluate and improve data tools and processes. This requires regular engagement with various stakeholders and HDP departments to collate lessons learnt and to allow effective improvements to be identified.
